I was talking with an older fellow from work and specifically asked about the Telegraph 'Road quarry due to my interest and research in the area, he said it was a small quarry and they particularly used the stones for the overpass railroad bridge by the foundry. (near Elyria Dairies and the Gyro House) I mentioned the 16th street quarry and he said that one was used to build Elyria High School and the bank building.
