Recently I bought a great book called, "EVIDENCE". I have been researching for quite a few years and as the time has passed the importance of sourcing continues to impress itself upon me. I have always sourced my materials, so that is not the problem. This book has encouraged me to take my sourcing up a level or two, by better defining my sources. This will take some doing. BUT it is happening. My two questions have to do with Lorain County and the ancestors that my husband Mark's family has there. I find them noted in TWO publications, one being the Elyrian which from what I have here is the Elyria High School year book. Can someone who is familiar with that publication tell me publication details? Does anyone have any other helpful information on that? The ones I am interested in would be primarily 1924/5 and before. The other item from Elyria that I am hoping for assistance with would be the city directories. I have the information from the listings that I need, but the sourcing on them is really scarce. Can anyone tell me who the publisher/compiler of the city directories was? Was it done by a private company and if so who? I want to make the source as complete as possible. AND last I HIGHLY recommend this book EVIDENCE if you are seeking guidance on your sourcing! Very user friendly! Thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to answer these questions for me. Regards, Karen Krugman Michigan
