My family migrated to Lorain CO back in the 50's from WV, so, you can see that I'm very surprised to find that I may have a connection to Lorain County after all. I've been tracing my THOMAS line back from WV to CO back to WV to MI to Defiance Co., OH and now Lorain County. I've found information about a Benjamin THOMAS married to Polly HOARD. They settled in Rochester Township in 1834 coming from Middlesex township, Yates County, New York. I believe Benjamin is my 4th Great-Grandfather.
