Hi Al, Thanks for the e-mail. It has been said in my family, that there was a connection to the Holcombs and Nichols but I have not been able to find one. The Holcomb name is very big around LaGrange where my Nichols come from and are still living there. It has been stated that my grandmother "flatly denied it" but sounds alittle fishy to me ; ) I do not have any Holcombs in the Lorain area for you to search but appreciate the offer.
