Neal, My sister-in-law Shirley Miller's mother was a Damon and I have a book on Damon's back to 1500's for her line-I think they originated in England and then to Conn. and eventually to OH. I will be in Florida until November 1 but after that will be gald to share this info with you. I took the original and had it photocopied as it was published several years ago by family and no one knows where the original is. Shirley's family lived in Hinckley and the other name I remember was VanDuessan in this family. I know the VanDussen line has been researched by a Van Dussen in Medina-I know the woman who is a Montessori teacher in Medina.
