Dear Ken, Even tho I didn't grow up in Elyria, my Dad and his siblings did. That was the original reason I listed on OHLorain. Now I read everything I receive as I feel "at home" here. You may have known my Dad, Chet Lapp -- his siblings, Albert, George, Harry and Mildred (two sisters - Pearl and Clara - died when one was 19 and the other 22) -- somehow I feel like I "belong" to the Elyria area as I am sniffing back tears as I type this. My cousin Ron (Chapman) was in the Navy and I had another cousin, Al Lapp Jr, who was in the Marines during WWII. Al Jr. was killed in a one car crash into a tree at about the age 22 after coming home from the War. I have met cousins on this site I didn't even know I had. Thank you to you and all the listers who have helped steer me in the right direction in my search and for all the interesting stories about everyone else. Again, I just love this site.
