Alice I forgot to mention that Richard Hysell was killed just a few days after Pearl Harbor. None of knew for sure how it happened. We don't know if he was in Pearl Dec7 but he had been there before. His father went to Mare Island to see him in the Navy Hospital and Dick told him what ever they tell you happen Happened. That is all any of us ever new even his parents. When his father lift him he was Ok and Dick died while his father was on the train home. When his father walked in the front door his wife screamed "Dick id dead", Ken ----- Original Message ----- From: <Alikat42@aol.com> To: <OHLORAIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 22, 2002 5:21 AM Subject: Re: [OHLORAIN] Pictures of Elyrians > Hello Penny, > > I forwarded this to my cousin, Ron, who was in the Navy during WWII -- he may > have gone to school with this man and maybe knows something about him -- I > will let you know if he does: > > > Richard Jack Hysell (died from injuries while on duty)& Victor Rudolph > Piskuran (Missing in action) Navy pictures May 5th is on one picture. > Had to be in the 1940's > > Alice > > > ==== OHLORAIN Mailing List ==== > Visit the Lorain County Genealogy page > http://www.centurytel.net/lorgen >
