East Cleveland Township Cemetery Foundation's Footsteps of the Past The East Cleveland Township Cemetery Foundation is hosting Footsteps of the Past to introduce the cemetery and some of its residents to the general public. Get acquainted with city founders, war veterans, victims of local disasters and many others. The cemetery will have docents available throughout the cemetery to share the stories waiting to be told of our early settlers. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 10 and September 17, rain or shine, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in the East Cleveland Township Cemetery located at 1621 East 118th Street. The self-guided tour begins in the chapel designed by well-known architect Frank B. Meade, that has been under renovation since January 2005. Perhaps you want to be reconnected with some of your family's ancestors. The burial records will be available to assist family members searching for that long lost great-grandparent, Uncle, Aunt or other family member.
