    3. to anyone interested In the 1924 tornado and In the Elyria Area. In August 1994 I donated part of the Cleveland Plain Dealer to the Lorain County Historical Society . Its the Rotogravure section that has Pictures . Its accession # 394.78.1 and 94.78.2. there are 4 sheets. I vaguely remember it.My father had a dump truck and was working with the cleanup crew. I remember my mother packing his lunch and then drive to one of the barriers to give it to him.I remember the sky turning alight tan. Ken

    3. Ken, My father was four years old and staying with his grandparents when this tornado hit. He remembers the glass on the floor, from the windows breaking and the garage was taken, never to be seen again. He and his two brothers crawled under the buffet in the dining room.
