Does anyone know what OBR would refer to in the Lorain County Probate Records? It is in the same column as Marriage License and Estate as the description for the type of record available. Thank you, Diane

Diane, I think that it refers to "old birth record." Not sure, but I think so. I am working without any records or notes, since my computer crashed almost a month ago. Trying to reconstruct my files - so, if I have forwarded any files to anyone in the last 9-10 months, please contact me so that I can recover what I have lost. Original Birth Registration (OBR): A certificate of live birth usually completed by a birth mother at the time of her child's birth. It also documents any changes made to the child's name.
