    3. I tried but couldn't read it either. On Heritage Quest it looked like Michael a little bit, but it was too light on Ancestry. If you are searching by Ancestry you can pull it up for searching for a Jacob Williams born about 1786 and that page is the first one that pulls up. But you have to count down. On Heritage Quest it is image #23 for that Madison Twp, Armstrong County, PA, page 264A. --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? 3. I screen-captured the image and used my image editor to enhance it.... it's still difficult. However, I think that Richard is a possibility, as is Pritchard, and Michael is as good a fit as those. Have you found this person in the 1860 census? 3. Jacob williams? Your on the wrong page....James Anthony is the guy I was looking at. And it is a male for sure accourding to the sex column. Do you suppose it would be in any census books? 3. I couldn't read James Anthony's name, but if you go down a few households you can read Jacob Williams clearly. That is how I found him on Ancestry after finding the page on Heritage Quiest Pennola Nolan <penodi@hotmail.com> wrote: Jacob williams?
