Hi Virginia - I have the opposite situation. My grandmother was from England. She married my grandfather here in the states, he was a US citizen. They were married in 1912 so I believe she got citizenship through him. I would like to get her papers so I could trace family in Eng. Thanks for your input. Pat in Florida!
