    1. Re: [OHLORAIN] BALDAUF surname
    2. The Haller name mentioned in this query caught my eye. I don't know if it will be any help at all - there are 42 listings for Haller in the Cleveland 2001 white pages. My 2nd cousin, Helen Boardman was married to a Clarence J. Haller. She died in Sept or Oct of 1983. Helen was the daughter of my Great Aunt Kathryn Werner Carrington - Boardman - Stewart She outlived 3 husbands and died in Columbus at the age of 92. (Kathryn's sister, was my paternal grandmother, Anna Werner Lapp - m - Heinrich George Lapp) - Elyria, OH My cousin Helen, and her husband, were in their 60's (at least) - the last time I visited them at 27600 Detroit Road,Westlake, OH -- he was a retired salesman from a moving company. This was in 1980. We exchanged christmas cards until Helen died -- then, after a few years, my cards came back. I assumed Clarence J. Haller died. I do NOT remember if they had children. Sorry. Don't know if this is any help at all or not. My parents weren't big on "family ties" That is too bad as now I am scrambling trying to find people and put the pieces together. Thanks to OHLorain and Rootsweb posting, I found a cousin (I didn't know existed) who has traced the Lapp's back 6 generations into Germany. I am truly truly grateful for these sites and "random acts" of kindness. God Bless, Alice Lapp
