    3. Nancy - thank you very very much for all this info and address. This is my first genealogy inquiry in Ohio so I am a bit unfamiliar with the geography, so even your Mapquest suggestion is top notch!! I will definitely do as you instructed and will get back to all as to my progress. Any further info from anyone on MINARD/SMITH in Elyria encouraged. Thanks again! You gave me some great "homework" and some great new sources. 3. If you want a really cool "view" of Lorain county, you can go to Microsoft's Terraserver Image page and see satellite photos of an area you're interested in. This one is of Amherst, zoomed in to 1 mile above, and somewhat centered on my grandma's house (317 S Main); at the lower left you can see the Crown Hill Cemetery. I like to use this site in conjunction with MapQuest to pinpoint an area I'm researching. http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/image.asp?S=10&T=1&X=1987&Y=22917&Z=17&W=2 Anna William & Lily Silverthorn wrote: > Nancy - thank you very very much for all this info and address.
