    3. This message about Cromwell has been driving me crazy all morning. For those of you in Lorain, this is the area where Janis Dodge is now located across the street from a gas station, Burger King and Convenient. A few years ago I worked at that convenient store and I vaguely remember someone telling me about a mill that had once been in that location. I think it was a co-worker. I am going to try to get in touch with him and see what I can find out. Was someone looking for particular info about Cromwell Steel? 3. Mary, I'm the one who started the thread about Cromwell. I had merely been curious about how large the company was and how long it existed. Apparently one of my husband's ancestors (great uncle) worked there when he registered for the draft in 1917 and again in 1920 after he was discharged from the Army. I haven't brought up Mapquest yet, but think I can get the general idea with the streets which Nancy mentioned. > Was someone looking for particular info about Cromwell Steel? > > When you look at a current map of the city of Lorain, look in the area > > that is southwest of Root Rd. and Colorado Ave. Thanks, Cathy in San Diego, CA (and clueless about local OH locations)
