Tried to keep my thoughts to myself here, but if you respond to Spam, you are indicating that the address they used to reach you is indeed a live address and it gets sold off / distributed even more. The spam I receive is a direct result of well-meaning friends leaving my address at sites 'to share with your friends'. I've asked them to stop. Along the same lines, I've had more comments ABOUT spam in my recent e-mail than the actual amount of spam itself. When one becomes a computer/internet user, the first responsibility is to know how to protect themselves from this and viruses. Gail, Ohio
