    3. Was this Gates School that is on Lake Ave? I went there in the 30ths but I didn't think the building was that old. I think the building is now used for the county welfare dept. My mother went to the old School Street School which is a block in back of gates and is on School St. That building was a wooden frame structure. ( I realize that Lake Ave may have a new name.)
