Does anyone know what became of the (Carl) Taylor Funeral Home in the Elyria/Lorain (Ohio) area? I know they were in business in the 1920s, at least. Thanks.

Carl died March 1951, his home/business was purchased in July by the Spitzer Brothers. The building was razed in Sept. 1951 and the property resurfaced and then became the parking lot for the Kroger Store. Thank you for the information about Taylor. I'm not familiar with the Spitzer Brothers...were they another funeral home business? Are they still in business? The reason I ask is that my grandmother's adopted mother had her funeral services there in 1929 and I want to see about getting funeral records for her.
