Jennifer, Sorry to be so long in responding to your message. I have had a lot of trouble with my computer and my e-mail. My husband's family has Diederich, Wohleber, Schmitz, and Weber. Some of the family spelled Diederich in a different way, but I don't have any indication that it was ever spelled Dietrich. Matt Wohleber married Rose Weber. Frank Schmitz married Emma Diederich and Peter A. Schmitz married Margaretha Diederich. They all lived in Russia township. Any connection?
