If the resources are available on the Internet, I use them. If some people are concerned enough about their privacy that they will go to the trouble of writing to their congressmen and state legislators, I don't have problem with removing the information. If the people are still living, I can get the information directly from the source. If I'm afraid to ask my sister for her oldest son's date of birth or marriage date, I don't deserve to have it. I have been doing this for more than twenty-seven years. A great deal of the fun of genealogy comes from searching for clues. Right now, because of the Internet, I have receive tons of information that I haven't even had a chance to review. I think I owe everyone in the world a response. (Please forgive me if you are one I owe.) Let's all lighten up and quit complaining about so much minutia. Be thankful for all the people who willingly share their information. Merry Christmas!
