October snuck up on us and the Annual First Families and Settlers Banquet of the Lorain County Chapter of OGS is just around the corner. This year the banquet will be held on Saturday, October 22 at the First United Methodist Church - on the Square - Wellington, Ohio. Punch: 4:15 pm Dinner: 5:00 pm. Home cooked! Following the induction of candidates for First Families and Settlers, Mildred Arthrell will entertain us with stories of the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder, the author of Little House on the Prairie.
