Nancy, Apparently there was a William Schmidt born 1889 over in Cuyahoga County who may be him. How do I get a copy of that record? He was listed on their online birth records section, volume something or other...Forget exactly, but apparently was born 1889. Wished I could find someone who could check over there for him or any male "Schmidt", "Schmitt", Smith, etc.. child born August 17, 1889.. ALSO think the Wilhelm who married Augusta Dehrbach in 1884 was actually in CUYAHOGA in 1900, 1910 and DID have a son Wm who is the right age! But I cannot locate the census data now. THOUGHT I had it saved! I need to get hold of that info somehow. I cannot access Ancestry. There's an older male, probably Augusta's father, in their household with a name very similar to "Dehrbach" but not spelled exactly the same on the census.
