I remember when I was kid there was a pond and an old abandoned building and I think people called it the gas house and I wondered why because we didn't have any oil around. It was north of cherry ridge golf course and the cross road that ran east ;west I think was Detroit Ave. The North south road I think was river road and it had a big hill and that was called "Gass house Hill.
