Zedaker, 62, retired meat wrapper: NORTH RIDGEVILLE -- Janet C. Zedaker (nee Moore), 62, of North Ridgeville, formerly of Elyria, died Sunday at St. John West Shore Hospital, following a sudden illness. She was born in Fremont, and resided in Elyria, moving to North Ridgeville 37 years ago. Mrs. Zedaker was employed as a meat wrapper for 23 years at the Giant Eagle Grocery Store, Avon Lake, retiring in February 2000. She also volunteered at North Ridgeville Community Care. She was a member of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville. She also was a member of T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Support Group and the Avon Lake Eagles. She enjoyed making crafts, cake decorating and was an avid Browns fan. Survivors include her son, Scott Talarsky of Elyria; daughters Vickie Knipp of Amherst, Terry James and Trudy Pignitella, both of Elyria; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Moore of Vermilion; sisters, Patrice Moore of Elyria, and Rosemary Love of Canton. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude (nee Heydinger) Moore; and stepmother, Francis Moore. Friends may call Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. at the David Bogner Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where a memorial service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Thomas J. Hyland, pastor of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville, will officiate.
