I have some information on Aikens from the Lorain, Amherst area. Can't connect exactly your Aikens, however there was an Irad Aiken, born 1792 in CT, moved to Amherst. Lorain County in 1863. He had 6 children, 3 sons, William Hanford, Charles, Noah B., and Edwin. I don;t have info on the boys other than Wiliam Hanford, but I suspect there is a connection.
