It's good to hear from other Aiken researchers. I am not a decsendent, but I've been researching the Porter line for many years, and it has been a good year or two since I've been able to do so, so the information is not as fresh in my mind. I have quite a bit on William and Hannah Porter Aiken, anything you need, just ask and if I don't know off the top of my head, I'll dig around for it. I have a question though, were there any Aikens in Iowa, Wisconsin and/or Missouri in the early 1800's as to help explain why William and Hannah were there for awhile? Thier son Irad was also born in Iowa, Clinton Co I believe. ---- [email protected] wrote: >Content-Type: text/plain > >OHLORAIN-D DigestVolume 05 : Issue 3 > >Today's Topics: >#1 Re: [OHLORAIN] Aiken, Akins, Russe ["NatureGem" >#2 Re: Aikens [] >#3 Re: [OHLORAIN] Re: Aikens ["NatureGem" >#4 Re: [OHLORAIN] Re: Aikens [Donna Edmondson >#5 Re: [OHLORAIN] Aiken, Akins, Russe [Bob Aiken ] > >Administrivia: >To unsubscribe from OHLORAIN-D, send a message to > >[email protected] > >that contains in the body of the message the command > >unsubscribe > >and no other text.
