Hi Maureen, Sounds like the exact same family. Those are the same names except I have William Henry instead of William Hanford (and possibly he went by Henry in some cases? Or had 2 or 3 names like some did). I also have additionally the two daughters Laura and Marietta and 2 unknown children who died young. Unless William Hanford was one of the two unknown children or another child born later? I would be curious to know who you have in your William Hanford's family because my William Henry married Hannah Porter and had Ira and Hattie. Do you have any pictures? Hello Deb and Maureen, I, too, am descended from the Irad Aiken family of Amherst, Lorain Co., through Marietta, the daughter. Irad's wife was Indiana Brainard, also from Ct., and both are buried in the Cleveland St. Cemetery, Amherst, Oh. Donna.
