I think the railroad (now CSX, at one time New York Central) that goes through North Ridgeville is the same track that goes through Rochester, Wellington, LaGrange, etc. My grandparents lived in Rochester and my grandfather worked on the railroad. The Rochester depot was moved (think in 1940's) from along the railroad to the school yard. At one time it was the cafeteria and later was a classroom. I went to the "old depot" for my 3rd grade.
