Does anyone know anything about this couple who were in Elyria beginning 1840 census? They had a son named Wallace who stayed until his death, I think, in 1931. Wallace and his wife were close friends with a great aunt of mine, Alice "Kittie" Cathabel (ELLIOTT) Lippy. I know Kittie's parent's, but her father's parent's are my brickwall. I am researching all her associates, as one tactic to determine clues to my ELLIOTT brickwall. The Jon. SMART family were, in deed, neighbors in 1850 of William ELLIOTT's second wife's family (NICHOLS)--and Kittie's future mother, so . . . "me thinks" they were important, especially since they and the son, Wallace, remained life long family friends. Help, anyone? Would like to know Nancy's maiden name to start with, and any other biographical info. anyone has on them. Thanks, Sarah
