Pension papers are wonderful resources for Family History. I sent away for a pension record for Lousia L. Hitchcock, wife of Frederick Hitchcock, who served in Company A, 150th OVI. While I am looking for information on a Frederick, mine has parents of Jabez Hitchcock and Lovina Unknown. This Frederick's parents are Lucius and Strelman(?). Frederick died 20 March 1874 in Cleveland at the age of 45. He was married to Lousia L. Seekins, 20 January 1853 in Elyria.
