BlankI did a quick research one afternoon, and believe I've connected S.C. JOHNSON of S.C. Johnson Wax of Racine, Wisconsin with Phineas JOHNSON, one of the first settlers of LaPorte, Lorain Co, Ohio. I believe S.C. was the son of Phineas Johnson, who was the son of Phineas Johnson of LaPorte. The Johnsons were originally from Berlin, Connecticut, and moved to LaPorte about 1819. Can anyone confirm/disprove the above information? Thanks! Deb
