I recalled that the Slovaks frequented Holy Trinity, but that church wasn't established until 1906. A childhood friend belonged to the Catholic Sokols, but I couldn't recall where the hall was located. I know that I had such fun at many of their athletic events. Thanks for the reminder! We've been so lucky to live in an area of such diverse cultures, but even in the 1950s I do recall that the nationalities still preferred their own churches!
