Of course no place on the main pages of the website does it tell how much it costs to join this community. However I see mention of the types of monies they accept being a "warning signal" that I am going to get slapped with a membership fee somewhere along the line. BUT you do not get an hint of what the impending costs will be. FIRST you have to download the product... before even being allowed to fill out the sign up pages! I feel like someone is trying to pull a sneaky one over me. There are few sites worthy of trust and if they are a trust worthy entity why aren't the costs out front? I feel like a fish being baited. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Try FREE Yahoo! Mail - the world's greatest free email! http://mail.yahoo.com/

    3. Becky, Sorry, I do not have any Oberlin HS materials. I usually deal with folks that were born before her. Who were her parents & siblings? Perhaps you might contact the Oberlin Public library. The only Oberlin materials that I do happen to have here, are the burials in Oberlin's Westwood Cemetery & the Oberlin College Catalog. 3. You can check the WWI draft registration cards for some additional information if this military man was born in 1888 and you know what county he lived in at time of the 1917-1918 draft registration. Filmed records can be ordered thru your local FHC. Nancy M. Meyers, Lorain OH

The link will take you to where you can subscribe to PAJEFFER-L. Just follow the instructions. But don't stop there! Go back to http://lists.rootsweb.com/ and check out the surname lists. You're sure to find one that you'd like to join. There are also how-to lists, even one for newbie genealogists! Jeanne
