My Logan county people are: COOKSON; REYNOLDS; STALEY; STRAYER; CLIPPINGER; KIPLINGER; MILLER; POLLOCK I am Susan Cruse (Suz) an Ohio native in western Oregon for the time being. My Mother is a Reynolds, and my Grandpa Reynolds' family was prominant and active in Logan Co. Thomas COOKSTON was my gggrandfather. He died in 1871 and is buried in Bellefontaine. Elias COOKSTON--his brother?--came with him from PA and farmed next to him on 2 adjacent farms on T203. The old Mt. Tabor Cemetery is literally filled with my family's COOKSTONS. I quite agree with Terry. We surely need to be more active here. We have a marvellous county, and need to be more attentive not only to its history, but to our associations with that history.
