Searching for Daniel JOSEPH born in Augusta or Rockingham Co. VA about 1797. He married Annis JACKSON 1817 Augusta Co. VA. I can't say for certain when they arrived in Logan Co. but Annis was a widow in 1850 federal census living in Union township. Their children were John b. ca 1817, William b. ca 1821, David b. ca 1823, Harvey b. ca 1824 all born in VA. The children born in Ohio were Daniel and Eva Jane b. ca 1827, Julia Ann b. ca 1829, Mary Eleanor b. ca 1830, Thomas b. ca 1834, Isabella b. ca 1836, Annis b. ca 1838, and Priscilla b. ca 1838. Annis JACKSON JOSEPH was residing in Quincy, Miami township, Logan Co. in 1860 but don't know what happened to the sons. I'm glad to share and exchange information for this family.
