My families in Logan Co. are COOKSTON, REYNOLDS, STRAYER,POLLOCK, MILLER, KIPLINGER, CLIPPINGER--just haven't got them posted!:( Thomas COOKSTON of PA, b. June 21, 1798 married Mary Catherine STALEY, b. July 16, 1800 (not sure if she was b. in Logan co.--her father was Jacob STALEY). They had : Charles Clark COOKSTON, b. March 16, 1822, m. I have GOBS of information about the Cookstons and Reynolds, incl. a daguerreotype of Thomas Cookston who died in 1871 and is buried in Bellefontaine. Many of the Cookstons, STrayers and others are buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetary. I have a lot of pictures of headstones of Bellefontaine and Mt. Tabor Cemetaries. My Mother was the only child of Charles Franklin Reynolds, David and Harriet's older son. The ?? up there are not whether or not the person married so-and-so, but that I can't find the given names of these people. I know I have them, and I also have the names of the children, pictures, etc. but just wanted to get this on to you. I am very curious that you have ELIZA JANE POLLOCK. All of the above except Jacob, of course, married and had children. I got a LOT more I'll be happy to share with you, just let me know. I'm really curious about Eliza!! i'm posting this both to you, yourself, and to the OHLOGAN list, because I've put off so long getting my stuff posted there !! I'll look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards, Susan (Suz) Cruse, d/oSue Irene Reynolds Cruse, d/o Charles Franklin Reynolds, s/o David Raymond Reynolds and Harriet M. Cookston, d/0 Mary Catherine Staley and Thomas Cookston, s/o Charles Cookston. By the way, my Grandpas R. was named for Thomas' oldest child, Charles Clark Cookston, who was a great favorite. He was very active in affairs in the Logan Co. area.
