I am searching for information on MARTIN DEWITT, Martin Was B, 1777 in Hampshire Co, Va. He married Sally Stivers and raised his family in Clark Co, KY. moving to Ohio around the year of 1820/30 bringing with him his wife and 8 children, 5 girls and 3 boys, it has been said that Martin was a Justice of the peace in Logan Co, Ohio, any information would be very helpful in determining if this story is true.
