Robert and Rebecca Edmiston, their children, and Rebecca's mother, came to McArthur Twp., Logan Co. OH from Ross Co. OH in the spring of 1824, where Robert, with Samuel Morton and Alexander Thompson, laid out the town of Cherokee. The children of Robert and Rebecca were: 1.
