    1. [OHLOGAN-L] Cemetery Photos
    2. I just received the notice from Dale Amann about the cemetery photos site and looked it up. It is really great... Thanks Dale for sharing. I made some inquiries and also volunteered to photograph sites in Logan county. So if any of you need or want photographs of gravestones around here just let me know. All I ask is you pay for a roll of film and I'll take care of the developing and postage as long as I can use any unused film for personal use (my kids). I can also scan and send to any e-mail account that accepts attachments or through ICQ if you prefer but sometimes the quality isn't so good that way. I have a list and directions to most cemeteries here in Logan County and have been to most of them... even the little 2 or 3 headstone ones. I would also be happy to look up anyone if you are not sure where exactly your people are burried....... This is my way of returning the favor for everyone online who have helped me. 1. [OHLOGAN-L] TERWILLIGER Surname
    2. Ms. Dale Amann
    3. I am trying to locate information on the death of Clayton Terwilliger, who married Nancy Jane Collins in 1905, probably in Bellefontaine, Logan Co. They were in Iron City, OH. in Jan., 1912, when Nancy's brother, John Louis Collins, died. Is anyone familiar with the Terwilliger surname? The Ohio on-line death index does not seem to have a death certificate for a ClaytonTerwilliger, unless the last name is spelled incorrectly. Nancy is buried at the W. Liberty/Fairview Cemetery in Liberty Twp., Logan Co.., OH with other members of her Collins family, bur I haven't found an inscription for her husband. Thanks for the assistance.

    3. I thought I might have the 1850 census for the Emberlins but I don't, I do have the Kanes, it is below. Also some other info on these families. The Essexes that married Kanes/Cains are grandchildren of my ancestor, Alexander Ramsey, through his daughter Cynthia and Joseph Essex. Another daughter of Alexander Ramsey, Rosanna, married Joseph Emberlin in Fayette or Ross County about 1821 and they moved to Indiana about 1830. 3. Hi all, I'm new to the list.... I just received information that states my TAYLOR's were born and died in Belmont, Logan co., OH circa 1760 - 1856. I have looked on a couple of my Altas' and I have been unable to find a "Belmont" in Logan co. I can only find a Belmont in Belmont co., OH. Can anyone tell me if there was and or is a city of BELMONT in Logan co., OH? Thanks a big bunch! Rolayne Smith Kasmer Mahoning co., OH

    1. [OHLOGAN-L] Ohio Census Indexes-look-ups
    2. Ms. Dale Amann
    3. My local FHC has the following Census Indexes: OHIO - Early Ohio census index; 1800-Washington Co..; 1810-1860 PA - 1790-1850 NJ - 1830-1860 KY - 1790, 1820-1850 There are some other states as well (I will check if specifically requested), but thought these were fairly pertinent to Ohio and immigration into the state. I go to the FHC about once every 2 weeks (will be going again the 6th) and am willing to do look-ups-one name per request, please. When possible, it is most helpful if I have a first and last name (especially the early years, when only the head of household is listed), and, where possible, the county, if known. If your surname is very common, I must have the first and last name. I am unable to photocopy any of the books (FHC rules-it breaks the spines of the books), so all work is transcribed, then sent to you via e-mail, therefore, I will not transcribe pages of "Smith" listings, for example. Anyway, just thought if I could help in some small way for all the assistance I have received from fellow Ohio researchers, I would be more than happy to help locate that elusive ancestor for others. 2. Edward Jones
    3. Does anyone have a copy of the 1920 Census for Logan Co OH or have access to a copy? I am trying to see of my grandfather is listed there. This is base on my father Thomas Loya Jones being born in Logansville, OH on 1/9/1921. His father Benjamin was likely living there during the 1920 census. I have been trying to get information via the local library, but they are not to helpful with researchers. Thanks for any help. Edward A.
