Nothing like free "stuff" A lobbying campaign to make older PA state death records available online..... Arizona, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio and West Virginia have their older death records online. Let your voice be heard..... Request form PBAPHR to open up the death records of PA. Contact person: Tim Grubber http://users.ren.com/timarg/PaHR-Access Requesting Genealogist/Researchers/Historians Lobbying Participation People for Better Access to PA Historical Records (PBAPHR) Talking points: (1) In the long run, having older death certificates available on-line would be a cost savings to the state. (2) the public would be much better served and allow for greater utilization of these records (3) year of birth and death guidelines will prevent identify theft (4) there is no practical reason that these records should be kept confidential indefinitely (5) other states have made this information available on-line. Why not PA?
