I am looking for information on Jacob Frederick Harigle, b. 30 Dec 1851, d. 1 Jun 1910, m. Hannah Rachel Woods b. 17 Jun 1853, d. 25 Oct 1937. I have not been able to find any ancestry for Jacob, no parents, etc. I have located Jacob Herigle (m. Nancy Spangler, b. 3 Nov 1795 in Sharpsburg, Md. and d. 1875) who have several children with descendants, but no full proof of any of those children being Jacob Frederick, my GGGgrandfather. I have seen suggestion of Jacob/Nancy's son David marrying a Harriet J. ??, and possibly being Jacob Frederick's parents, but with no certainty. If this is the case, I cannot find any lineage for this Jacob either. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks!! Diana Hall

According to David Fredrick Herrigle's death certificate he iwas the son of David Herrigle and Harriet Jane Harper. I found his death certificate on http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=1199832655518#p=0 . Please not the above spelling of his name to get to the death certificate. David Herigal is listed in the 1860 Licking Co. OH census. David Herigal age 35 born Ohio Harriet age 28 Jacob age 8 Susan age 6 Nancy age 65 David Herigle is also listed in the 1870 Marion Co. OH census David Herigle age 45 Harriet age 38 Jacob age 18 Susan age 16 Dory L age 10 Casper age 7 Bertha age 2 David is also listed in the 1880 Hardin Co. OH census David Harigle age 55 Harriet age age 48 Casper age 17 Bertha age 11 Susan Roads (daughter) age 25 Lois Roads (granddaughter) age 4 David is also listed in the 1900 Hancock Co.
