Hi Lois, My earliest Hilbrant is Henry(1762VA-1856OH) whose wife may have been a Park/s as their son, Aaron P.(born 1808 Licking Co. OH-d.1879 Licking Co.) named his son Aaron Park Hilbrant. I have not been able to confirm a wife for Henry. Aaron P.'s brother, John, married a Rebecca Parks. Aaron mar Isabella Huddleston. Their son, Henry Huddleston Hilbrant mar Mary E. Pittsford. Very possible that original name is Hildebrant/Hilderbrandt, but from Aaron on in my line it is Hilbrant/Hillbrant. Anything familiar?
