Sarah m. Mathias Saum and her first child died after the 1840 census is buried in St. Albin Twp., Licking Co. I have Rachael's marriage license to E. B. Martin because it was in his Civil War papers. Apparently the couthouse burned and without that copy I wouldn't have been able to find it. Have you tried searching Indiana for Daniel Vail?
