    3. Hi everyone, Linda Montanaro has that the Licking County Genealogical Society furnish a brief message regarding the activities at the LCGS Computer Interest Group meetings. The LCGS CIG met on Sunday, June 20th at 2pm with Ron Trager, Computer Chairperson leading the roundtable discussion. Because of Sunday being Father's Day there were only 5 attendees. Discussion covered the following topics: 1. Zip and Unzip utility software programs - specifically WinZip. WinZip can be downloaded from http://www.winzip.com/ PKZip is another popular Zip and Unzip utility program and can be downloaded from http://www.pkunzip.com/ 2. The integration of the holdings of the Licking County Genealogical Society into the online catalog of the Newark Public Library. Some LCGS material is already entered into the online catalog of the Newark Public Library. You can search the online catalog of the Newark Public Library from http://newark.lib.oh.us/ Note: The Newark Public Library is in the process of building a new building and when complete the Licking County Genealogical Society's Library will be moved into the new building. The holdings of LCGS will be part of the Newark Public Library's Catalog but ownership will be retained by LCGS. This will make the holdings of LCGS more available to the public. 3.
