AnNMe, This may or may not qualify as a "shred" -- Ann Maria THOMAS, who Family Tree Maker tags as my great-grand aunt, married a Gilbert C. SMOOTS in Licking County, Ohio, November 1, 1882. They had at least two children: Ethel Grace SMOOTS, born November 1, 1883; and Earnest Edward SMOOTS, born about June 22, 1888. I have been hoping to find SMOOTS cousins, which might help me fill in gaps in my own line, and have not been successful to date. I guess this was a semi-shred...
