Although beginning in Hocking County's Hocking Hills State Park area (Benton and Starr Townships) I am also researching many of the surrounding counties including: Ross, Athens, Fairfield, Franklin, Richland, Marion and Muskingum. Ohio towns include: Logan, South Bloomingville, Lancaster, Enterprise, Benton, Columbus, Mansfield, Zanesville, Rockbridge, Athens, Akron, Tarlton, Circleville, Laurelville, Ilesboro and others. Many associated families include: BURGOON, BURNS, CHILCOTE, CLARK, COOK, COOPER, HOY, ILES, LINDSAY, LOWERY, MARTIN , MAUK, MCCONNELL, MCELFRESH, MIRE, PUCKETT, READY, SANDERSON, SATER, SCOT, SKIVELY, SPRING, STOUGHTON, STARKL(E)Y, STROOP, WILLIAMS, WOODARD, ZEHRUNG, The time period I am researching begins in 1835 in and around Hocking and surrounding counties, to the present but mainly between 1870's to the 1930's.
