I have a book that someone from your county maybe interested in. It is called ''Grandville,'' 'The Story of an Ohio Village', by William T. Utter. 337 pages, has an index of names as well as an index of events. Starts from the very beginning with pictures of people, houses, even a picture of west Broadway in 1870, a Map of Granville in 1874., view of the village from Mt. Parnassus, 1875, Civil War Veterans (1880's). If you are interested in this area this is a wonderful book.
