IA spouse - Elizabeth DeWEESE, dau. of Thomas and Catherine SPENCER DeWEESE Elizabeth was born c.1797 Monongalia Co. VA (WVa) and married 22 Sep 1817 - Licking Co. OH 1793 - Jonas WARD (Sr.) and family removed from VA, stopping about a year in Marietta, then moving up the Muskingum to Waterford and later settling in Licking Co. OH Jonas WARD (Sr.) may have served in the Revolutionary War at the Battle of Yorktown where he was wounded (family tradition)
