I agree with Pat, except for the past tense. In my neck of the woods those things still apply and to many townships here. We even still have the dirt roads (gravel actually) but can't afford oil! Records available can vary a lot depending on the past (and present) Clerks and cemetery sextons. It doesn't hurt to ask. One important unaddressed issue.
