    3. The link below will show a typical township "house" in Licking county (Jersey township). These were used for zoning hearings, trustee meetings and polling places. Many were also used as school houses in past days. In Outville, in the 60's when I lived there, Harrison township also had a "garage" where they kept a road grader and dump truck (with snow plow), etc. Of course this was also when many of the "township" roads were nothing but gravel and oil (to keep dust down).
